How to choose colours for your shop interior?

30. Choose pale colours for the floor, walls, ceiling and furniture of your shop. They reflect more light, reducing the amount of electricity required. Avoid dark colours, rugs and fabric wall hangings: they absorb light.

31. Choose paints free from solvents and co-solvents.

32. Opt for natural paints that do not contain heavy metals. They use pigments derived from minerals (Sienna, iron or manganese oxide), vegetables (valerian, tea, onion), or animals (cochineal). Remember, some water-based paints also contain co-solvents.
